This learning activity is suitable for approximately
30 pupils, providing adequate adult support accompany the children
on their visit. Pupils will be split into small groups throughout
the centre to ensure quality voice recording. |

| Expectations
of the class teacher and preparations prior to your visit |
The class teacher will have already worked extensively
on this unit in school, and all pupils will have explored a range
of persuasive texts, including posters and trailers for films. |
| Expectations
of the Class teacher whilst at the CLC |
The class teacher will be expected to model the writing
process of a 'voice over' for a film trailer including all the persuasive
devices discussed at school.
Teaching and support staff will be expected to support their pupils
as they work throughout the CLC using ICT and lead any additional
Literacy elements of this unit. |
| How will CLC
staff support this activity? |
CLC staff will lead the ICT elements throughout the
day for both pupils and support staff. All zones booked will be made
ready for your class. |

Schools need to ensure that pupils bring a packed lunch
and drinks (water only) with them if the learning activity runs over
lunch time. |
| Travel Costs |
The CLC will contribute half of the travel cost that you book through a competitively priced coach company. |
