Masterclass in Digital Photography
Your course tutor for this masterclass is Tillman Kleinhans ARPS,
AFIAP, DPAGB.
Tillman Kleinhans has been taking photographs since 1971 and now works
exclusively in the digital domain. He has been a member of the St Helens
Camera Club since 1975 and an L&CPU judge since the eighties.
Up until 1998, most of his work was in mono-print or colour transparency,
since then he has been working with colour printing, courtesy of digital
imaging. This media has opened up a whole new range of possibilities for
the creative photographer.

Session One: |
The development of digital photography. Introducing the digital cameras,
learning how to work with them... including professional equipment. Pixels
and file sizes explained and made easy. Tricks of the trade and how to
‘take’ a good photograph. At the end of the session you will
be given an assignment to complete in readiness for Session Two.
Downloading pictures on to a computer and how to manipulate your images
using Adobe Elements. Assessing photographs, presenting images and instruction
on using PicturestoEXE.
