Foundation MindGenius - Mind Mapping

Course Aim:

To introduce the MindGenius software to new users. The course is also suitable to users with limited experience of this Mind Mapping software.
Required prior learning: Basic computer skills e.g. logon, save, open, close
Suitable Audience: All Educators including: Teachers, Learning Support Assistants, Teaching Assistants, Learning Mentors.

11:00am – 11:15am Refreshment Break
11:15am – 12:30pm Part 2
12:30pm – 13:15pm Buffet Lunch
13:15 pm – 15:00pm Part 3 and Evaluation
15:00pm Departure Refreshment

Course Objectives:

At the end of this course you will be able to:

Create, save, open, close and amend a Mind Map in MindGenius
Make use of the 'note editor'
Make use of the 'Picture Selector'
Make use of colour
Print your Mind Map
Export your Mind Map and notes into MS Word, MS PowerPoint and pdf.

The course fee covers:

All handouts (if appropriate), printing, refreshments throughout the day, buffet lunch, use of CLC resources for the duration of the course.
