Codes
of Conduct for Members and Business Users
- All members and business users should be familiar with the detail
contained within the St Helens City Learning Centres’s ICT Code
of Conduct Booklet.
- All members and business users must have a signed copy of the Conditions
of Use Policy and abide by the regulations within them.
- All members and business users are requested to sign in the Visitors
Book and are encouraged to use the Comments Booklet situated at the
Main Reception Desk.
- Chewing gum is strictly prohibited within the City Learning Centre.
- Consumption of Food and Drink is strictly prohibited in the Learning
Zones.
- For the benefit of all, users are requested to observe quiet as much
as possible.
Business Users are requested to
- Ensure the Air Conditioning is switched off at the end of the session
and that the Learning Zone is left tidy ready for the following users.
Please Note:
Room rental and catering charges must be agreed prior to booking. For
further information, contact the City Learning Centre you wish to book.
Junior Members Please Note:
Inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated in the City Learning Centre.
Such behaviour will result in termination of your membership.
Security/Health and Safety at the CLC
- All business users and members should be aware of the disclaimer displayed
in the foyer informing them that belongings left in the City Learning
Centre will be at the owners own risk
- Equipment and excess materials causing dangerous obstruction should
not clutter floor space within the City Learning Centre
- The City Learning Centre operates a No Smoking Policy,
therefore, users will be asked to refrain from smoking within the Centre
Fire Escape Routes are as follows:
- Room1- The escape from the City Learning Centre is
through the door of the room and then turn left and immediately left
again, down the corridor and out of the rear fire door.
- Room2 - The escape from the building is via the door
situated at the back of the room.
- Room3- The escape from the building is via the door
situated at the back of the room.
- CZ1,2,3 - The escape from the building is via the
front door of the City Learning Centre.
- Users on the Corridor - Should follow the signs to
the nearest fire exit to escape the building.
